O Governo do Estado de São Paulo anunciou medida que atinge contribuintes em débito.
Pessoas físicas e empresas terão prazo estendido de 90 (noventa) dias antes que ocorra o protesto de dívidas pela Procuradoria Geral do Estado.
A medida entra em vigor no dia 1º de abril.
O anúncio tem objetivo de combater o impacto econômico da Covid-19, doença causada pelo novo coronavírus. “Estamos suspendendo protestos das pessoas físicas e jurídicas, devedores do Estado, pelo prazo de 90 dias, a partir de 1º de abril. Isso melhora, e por sensibilidade, permite que as pessoas possam destinar recursos e renda para esse momento difícil de transposição da crise do coronavírus”, disse o Governador.
Mensalmente, o Governo de São Paulo envia cerca de 100 mil débitos por mês para protesto. Atualmente, a Dívida Ativa estadual está em R$ 331,8 bilhões.
